After retiring from the faculty of architecture at the Knowlton School of Architecture at Ohio State University, I have continued to pursue life-long professional interests in the way that architectural environments contribute to our quality of life—a subject that led me to the particular role of the college and university campus as a setting for an academic community—and personal interests in the vernacular architecture of small towns and villages that rarely receive historical attention. Included on this website are selected thoughts on these subjects. Comments are appreciated.
